Thank you for posting the update. It seems that it was, in fact, a server issue (server CURL configuration).

I will look into updating nukePIE with the current version of SimplePie, as well as provide a configuration option (or detecting) when the force_fsockopen should be used. But that will likely not happen for some time as I'm working on nukeSEO DH right now.
